my laptop has gone for an operation...the screen is like a tv with a bad ariel, jumping up and down the screen like a hyperactive person.
My pen drive has gone missing, how am i gonna get my assignment done now? laptop and pendrive, now i realize how important you two are for assignments!
On Saturday we went to Singapore for the match against Blacks A.
As usual, I'm a winger forever, i guess this game is the game I ran a lot but didn't do much though...felt like i ran everywhere and wasn't really playing by my position.
In this game I ran from one side of the field to the other just to close the gap.
Each time i marked their winger, their outside-center would kick the ball and i would be too slow to follow the ball. I need to learn how to look up and see the game instead of eying the ball only.
As usual, it's my weakness that I can't tackle properly resulting opposition scoring a try.
I don't quite remember what i did, but my team mates said I blow-over...did I?
I got the ball twice but didn't manage to go far. I must learn how to find gaps. When I had the ball, I wanted to pump my feet but my support told me to go down because the ball was in danger.
Well, the referee was kayu la, the opposition didn't ground the ball, the ball was on top her body, how can that be called a try? There were other instances where the referee gave bad calls repeatedly...Gawsh, Kayu Betul la.
After the game, the coaches and our captain and another senior player completely abandoned us...Thank God, there was still Becks and Zet or not it would be all the Old Timers aka Superstars or top management completely left us to fend by our self...
Lena Kula got lost so many times, But managed to find our way back...I guess that just wasn't our day.
Police doing road block on the highway? Wow, first time i encountered that.
this picture was from our first game at Republic Polytechnic, the start of singapore 15s league.
THE RANDOM BLABBING OF MINE ON THE ATTIC THAT NEVER EXISTED... "Till by faith I met HIM face to face And I felt the wonder of HIS grace Then I knew that HE was more Than just a GOD who didn't care Who lived away out there, and Now He walks beside me day by day Ever watching over me lest I stray Helping me to find that narrow way HE's everything to me." Oh, also apparently last night, there was some protest or mogok...i didn't know about it cause i was busy studying for my CPR practical test and my health & fitness test...chap 1 to chap 10...Aiya, what a wrong time to have tests, how i wanna join the action and politics? :P
the elections are held every year...that means once in 2 sem.
Last semester the leadership was held by Penggerak Mahasiswa, this sem and next sem will be Pro Mahasiswa, so let's see the difference. Compare and contrast, see and experience which party did better? To be fair, just measure by a semester only because I only "tasted" one semester from Penggerak's side and it was the 2nd part of the year only that i experienced, meaning they had the sem before i entered Uni to be established so on my 3rd sem only will i start comparing the difference...give them a sem's time to get established first.
who knows maybe the next election will be won by independents fully..haha
the question i ask is, will the candidates bring about changes or is it a joke? Is the Uni making students think the students are in control...Can they bring their manifesto into reality?
To all my stpm friends who got their results today...it's just a piece of paper, another exam result in your life...it's not the end of the world yet, there are many more chapters of your life to be written. I'm sure you know that STPM results is the end of the road but it is the beginning of a new phase in life...for those on the path of tertiary education, life will be totally different, say bye bye to tuitions..hehe.

politic in UM elections
As some of you know, It's the UM election time now...I'm sure you saw the news on Star newspaper and NTV 7 night news...Students damaging the door of Kompleks PerdanaSiswa, Mainly it's because of the disqualification of 8 candidates...
for more info on the door incident, read:

The pro-Mahasiswa team is known to be anti-establishment while its rivals known as Penggerak Mahasiswa is pro-establishment.
Protesting against the disqualification of eight candidates – including two independents – pro-Mahasiswa students organised a rally outside PROF Datuk Dr Rohana Yusof's office [the deputy vice-chancellor student affairs and alumni at Universiti Malaya] at the Perdanasiswa complex, demanding the reinstatement of the candidates.
e-voting, e-nominations, e-appeals and e-objections...not credible la...
e-voting is a controversial issue before and it still is in UM, It was introduced in 2009/2010 without discussion or agreement nor democratic .
our votes are no longer kept secret and no one know for sure if the system is fair...as there had been 4 cases where the credibility of e-voting is questioned. 1st case: a few series of disturbance on the computer voting system at several places...what happened during these disturbance, was the voting tempered?
2nd case: computer position where others can see your vote
3rd case: computer positioned near guards which disturbed voters and made them uncomfortable
4th case: Wrongful information about voters in the system which made several voters not eligible to vote and the missing information on several qualified voters thus they also not qualified to vote anywhere.
Discussions and explanation from anti-establishment party were denied ruthlessly. Haish, University authorities also not fair one...ish ish ish...7 Candidates who won already was disqualified...wah, What's the use of the election then?
Ugly SPIT and rumours and the use of religion to spoil other candidate's reputation...exactly like in MALYAYSIAN POLITICS...smear people's name and image. Anti-establishment party used this type of approach to win votes? Haish, i'm so disappointed...
you see the words they said "Sanggupkah anda selaku mahasiswa islam menyokong calon begini?" and "mana letaknya ISLAM pada mereka? ISLAMkah anda yang mahu menyokong calon sekular begini?"
wah, so teruk la, campaign until like this!
anyways, tomorrow is the voting day and tomorrow also i got 2 tests to sit for...I'm not gonna vote by party...Vote by manifesto and qualifications and credibility lor...
One faculty candidate and one general candidate.
Woah, campaigning really takes up a lot of money...banner, poster, rafia string, cello-tape. the betting money....crazy! all ptptn money gone to waste...hope they recycle their papers after the election...it created a lot of rubbish everywhere.
I wish they had a big board which all the candidate post they manifesto but one A4 size poster a candidate only...at least in this way, it's not a popularity win but a win by what they are fighting or standing up for.

chap goh mei
We celebrate CNY for 15 days...today is CHAP GOH MEI. The last day of the celebration. Every chap goh mei marks the first full moon of the year :)
There is a tradition where young single ladies will go and throw oranges into the sea, river or from on top the bridge and with the hope of finding their true love. PS: If you are thinking of doing this, don't forget to Write your name and hp number or email on the orange...haha.
All the single boys waiting for the throw...
Recently my mom has been asking me if I got anything for Valentines...even today...Then only I ter-remember this tradition which is on chap goh mei...haha XD
So to all you people, I know I'm 21 years old already but I won't throw any oranges into any river, sea, from a bridge just yet...I wanna concentrate on my studies and only after my degree will I start thinking of throwing an orange..LoL.

start of Spore 15s League
Last saturday was the beginning of the singapore rugby 15s league.
so there's gonna be a match every saturday till 12 march...home and away.
our first game was against Bucks and the match was at Republic Polytechnic, woodlands, singapore.
Initially the weather was quite thundering so we thought we might not be able to play at all!
Oh ya, Apai was the only "tour virgin"...she wasn't really treated as a tour virgin though.
Anyways, we started the game at 5.30pm and the rain had almost subsided.
This is my first time playing as a Outside Center, usually i play winger. Most of the back line played new positions so it was a new experience for all of us. It was a bit more pressuring to be a Outside Center because there is more responsibility compared to a winger's job. Next, no longer do I stay at the wing, but now i'm in the center of the field and there's more ball action aka more pressure.
I got scolding from Wei for not knowing when, where and how to guard dog. I wasn't aware when to realign and when to be in a straight line. Besides that, Wei told me not to mark people during guard dog cause i should close the gap first! Wei also reminded me many times on the field how to rush up in a line when we are in defense...it took me about the whole 1st half of the game to instill it in my brain that i must run outside shoulders to avoid the opponents from passing the ball.
first half ended with 3-0, Bucks scored a penalty goal.
when I received the ball from Bibi after she looped, i guess i wasn't deep enough so i couldn't run all the way in front of the forwards, instead I got stuck behind the forwards...yikes...
I mistackled 2x and that cause Bucks to score 2 tries..My fault! Ish, i must really learn how to tackle la.
Bucks score 3 tries altogether, converted 2 goals in the second half. Thus ending the game with a score of 22-0.
This is the first time we played all locals only in our team.
Apai did very good on her first game...Hani did a great job too.
Halina managed to throw straight balls in every line out. Overall, I think it was a good game and everyone did their best.

FEDERAL TERRITORY DAY! Feb 1st... new anthem which has a much faster beat but I still prefer the original song.
CNY! Ever since my grandparents died, it has been my family tradition to go up to Genting Highlands on Chinese New Year eve...
When I was younger, I liked the arcade games but now I feel a bit bored of arcade games already la.
So, what to do then? I'm still under aged to enter the casino so what me and my siblings usually do is go to any shop like coffeebean or starbucks then the eldest buy drinks for us then we chat and reconnect. Mini Reunion.
The journey to Genting and coming back from Genting Highland itself is fun...we'll be joking, making fun, solving riddles and telling interesting experiences in their lives..
Owh, ALL my SIBLINGS are BACK this year! SABAH, JOHOR, MELAKA & KL.
I also think This is the first time my siblings and my mom slept in the same room...that's 6 person in a room...cool!
This year people whom i didn't expect sms-ed me to wish me HAPPY BIRTHDAY...
"u kan my friends..I akan ingat birthday kawan-kawan I"
Whoa, feel so terharu.
And by the way, YES, i did hide my birthday in FB...Why do you wanna know when is my birthday when I don't even remember when's yours? I don't even bother to remember la.
I went to Ms Wong's (my form 6 MUET teacher) house today...met a lot of current form 6 who knew me...Why bother remembering me when I myself don't bother to know your name also?

fulfill ur bet day
Ok, I went to the optician, he said can't really do anything about the light disturbance. At the moment, I do not need a specs yet unless I feel eye strain or watery eyes or headaches...Nah, I don't feel none of those yet. So check my eyes again after a year loh. Really glad that I don't need specs cause firstly it cost money, secondly it kinda spoils my image and thirdly it would be tough doing sports with spectacles on.
I only have a few more days to fool around cause after this, I would officially be an adult! Oh Gosh, 21 years old this year. I guess I gotta start acting like 21 and stop behaving so childish and immature. Be a women of little words and stop playing around with words? Stop Lame Jokes? Bullying and sarcasm are another part of my life that may need to be demolished soon...
Today, I made Robin Hood aka Chandrakumar, a 11 years old boy fulfill the bet which he lost! For those who didn't know, ROBIN and I made a bet before I started University life: Whoever fails any subject, test, exam, quiz will have to RUN up and down the JALAN JEJAWI ten times non stop. Ten times each fail, so if I fail 2 exams and 1 quiz then I will have to run 30x non stop. At the moment, the bet will last till 2014.
Robin failed his music exam last year and so today he had to fulfill the bet aka face the punishment.
Background info on Robin Hood, he is a straight A student, quite brilliant but lazy to study. Only concentrates on IMPORTANT subjects, confident he will never fail in education.

Sok Sok
Last year my favourite uncle died. I wanted to attend his funeral but couldn't because of many reasons...
So, this year cannot celebrate CNY (Chinese new year). I don't know my uncle's name but among all my uncles he was the one I loved the most. I called him "Sok Sok"...The uncle that let me do anything and the dearest relative to me. I still remember all the memories with him and my younger bro, Prince.
He was there at the back of my classroom when I had art exam in standard 1(Primary school), I even remember he smiling at me while I drew a big apple on my art paper. I was so happy while drawing that apple because I knew after school I was going to have a really fun time. We went to the park where I played and played so much.
Sok Sok always took me and Prince out to playgrounds, we would play and then eat ice cream and drink really really sweet drinks like LIVITA! LoL, small children drinking Red Bull, can you imagine how active we would transform into?
Sok Sok also frequently brings me and Prince out for JOY RIDES! In the car when he still had both legs, in handicap motorbike and bicycle when he amputated his leg because of Diabetes...I'm not sure about Prince, but I always look forward to CNY every year because I can go cycling and joyrides in Sok Sok's handicap motorbike :)
This year's CNY will be different without Sok Sok...
I remember getting lost with my uncle one CNY! I was traveling with my uncle on a motorbike while Prince traveled with my other relatives by car. Thank God, I recognised a landmark and so we didn't go to the family dinner but had our own dinner elsewhere then headed back home, that night was the night that I found out my younger bro loved me more than i loved him because he actually cried for me. When Prince found out I got lost and didn't make it for the dinner, he shed tears fearing for my safety and all. He then lose his appetite and insist to tapau some food for me.

I n EYE prob
I have EYE problems...
I cannot see far...can't recognize people until they come close.
Always seeing signboards wrongly but luckily i'm quite familiar with the place so i know what the signboard is suppose to say.
Lights...I don't like going out at night because the lights hurt my eyes. Lamp posts, car signal and front light of the car, it all hurts my eyes. I can't see light as a whole(left pic), instead light looks like a star...there's lines coming out all the time(right pic)
Oh, this means, i will not be able to drive at night la...if i ever get a driving license

Diam
Apa yang sudah terjadi dengan saya?
Kerana mulut, badan binasa tetapi dalam keadaan saya, badan saya tidak binasa sebaliknya kawan-kawan merajuk lalu beri silent treatment. Kenapa mulut saya terlalu laser?

roomie2
Today's post will be on the Changes in Uni lifestyle or more specifically the changes in my roomies and me...
As time passes, changes takes place...
Akiko is now more aggressive than last year, she hits, slaps and bends people's finger...OUCH!
She thinks she's playing but sometimes it shows lack of manners...and if she doesn't change, someday someone might say to her "Your mom didn't teach you manners ah?"
Last year i said i could fight back but i didn't want to...that was last year. This year things changed, I am no longer able to fight back...i guess i left my fighting spirit behind...I'm a weakling.
This year i sort of developed a habit of reading at night.
Fiona is louder this year...last year her voice was much softer but this year her volume became more higher...
Next thing is my timetable :
monday afternoon and night,
tuesday morning and evening,
wednesday morning, evening and night.
violin class on friday afternoon and sports after that.
saturday and sunday goes for PALAPES LAUT aka reserve navy and softball...
that means my rest day is THURS only! Rugby in the evening...

0645 to 1900
Palapes aka reserve navy training.
Order: Be in 5th college at 6.45am.
When we reached there, nobody was there even at 7am...muster and waiting patiently while wondering if our senior and junior midshipmen were playing a fool on us. Standing there like dummies till 7.45am then we finally saw our junior midshipmen arrive. Our Senior midshipmen arrived at 8am...
The muslims had aerobics then a ceramah related to their religion.
The non muslims were sent off to the Reserve Officer Training Unit (ROTU) Navy Head-quarter's of UM and help out in the cleaning the office till late afternoon then we had a break of 20 minutes for lunch then we joined the muslims after their ceramah. They or WE were getting punishment for not memorizing all our senior and junior's full name and soldier number...
anyways, after that, we cleaned the HQ storerooms till 6pm then walk back to 5th college and "played" volleyball till 7pm. Thank God that it started to drizzle so they had to stop or not the event will go till dark.
Tomorrow we still got PALAPES...we're gonna do sports training from the morning, I wonder what time will it end? Then after that I got softball practise at 3pm. Giler tak gila?
Order: Be in 5th college at 6.45am.

by the way...now we are still cadets officers, when we enter our 3rd semester then we are promoted to Junior midshipmen and on the 5th semester we are promoted to Senior midshipmen. Then after the 6th semester is completed we will graduate into subby or Acting Sub Lieutenant or in malay Leftenan Muda.
In this post i will refer to Senior Midshipmen as Senior and Junior midshipmen as Junior. The muslims had aerobics then a ceramah related to their religion.

Soldier number or nombor tentera is like their 2nd IC...a bit senseless right? asking people to memorize your ic number?

Hey hey, here I am.
New Year, New Semester, New Hope, New Beginning, New Chapter and New Day, New Experiences, New Relationships, New Subjects...
Walking by faith to her cocktail party at Ritz Carlton KL..I just took the monorail to Jalan Imbi and then just jalan-jalan by following my feelings then I reached Jalan Imbi Chapel...it was behind Ritz Carlton. Cool!
Fourth is My first time going out to celebrate my course mate's birthday! We went to the Garden's to celebrate, karaoke! Oh, meaning it's also my Fifth First: My first time going Karaoke.
Sixth, My first time sitting in a different seat in class
which is also my first time sitting on the other side of class!
OH NO! I have number 8 because The day that I decided not to come was the day the LECTURER finally decided to turn up and the lecturer was none other than our very own PENGARAH PUSAT SUKAN aka DIRECTOR of SPORTS CENTER! Haiz, so anyway number 8 is My First time skipping class intentionally!

Not really ponteng if the lecturer don't come right? So far only 1 subject that we have not met the lecturer yet.
Not really ponteng if the lecturer don't come right? So far only 1 subject that we have not met the lecturer yet.
I mean we got the timetable but there's no lecturer's name and so far all 3 class, he or she hasn't entered class, maybe it's because in the first week usually our seniors don't enter class and on the second week, it's add and drop week or maybe we really don't have any lecturer for this subject yet? By the way, the subject is Injury in Sports and First Aid.

joke went wrong
ah, i meant to tease Akiko and Jodie but it turned out as a joke that went wrong.
I was quite surprised to find out that they didn't know what it meant...and when they finally found out through another person, the moment was gone so they misunderstood. Haiz.

What is the best known American Sign Language sign? The I Love You sign is probably the best known sign. It is an easily recognized sign
The ILY is a sign from American Sign Language which, as a gesture, has moved into the mainstream. It is used in the United States and other Americanized countries. It originated in American Sign Language as a combination of the letters I, L and Y (I Love You). The sign is a very informal way of expressing a number of positive emotions ranging from general esteem to love for the recipient of the sign.
this is "L"

roomies day out
Ahh, a new year and a new semester in UM...
On the 30th dec 2010,
My room-mates...Akiko and Fiona aka Yen Ping...they came up with a plan to check-in our hostel aka residential college together as roomies on sunday(2nd Jan) at 3pm.
1st jan 2010
I sms-ed Fiona, "So, can we check-in and put our stuffs in the room first then come down and wait for Akiko tomorrow?"
The reply I got was "NO, we meet in-front of the office with our bags then we check in together, all 3 of us."
In my mind I was like, haiz, so mafan la..
And so on sunday, 2nd Jan 2010 as mentioned, we met at 3pm in front of the college office and guess what?
The OFFICE closed at 3pm sharp! How efficient la, our college staffs, really on time and disciplined...
All 3 of us with No KEY at all...so, what else la? Illegal squatters loh. Throw away our pride and ask friends if we can tumpang in their room for the night. Host number 1 agreed to put up with us and our laptops.
We put our important things in their room and then went out. People cleaning their room mah. Fiona felt like going out somewhere and coming back only at night, Spontaneously we decided to go out loh. Room-mates day out together.
We took lrt putra and monorail, ate outside and walked around and bought stationery then took a joyride on the lrt: Went all the way to Kelana Jaya and all the way to Gombak and then back to Universiti...That's like at least 2 hours of chatting in the train. LoL.
We had yum cha session then reached college about 1am. By that time, host number 1 were sleeping already and so Host number 2 agreed to host us for a night.
What a way to start college life.
Sorry, none of us brought a camera and we are not cam-whores so no picture/s were taken...

SBNA
This year 2010 was a year of guys coming after me. When I reject them they say I jual mahal pula. Then ada pula khabar angin yang I seorang pengkid...
Don't say you love me, You don't even know me...
My status is SINGLE but NOT AVAILABLE ok...
2 principles:
I'm in University to learn! When I was small, my guardian taught me if I want to study, cannot have BF. I don't want a BF yet, University is for studying.
I don't want to get hurt, relationship is not for play-play. If I get into a relationship means I'm serious, I will only get into a relationship if I intend to get married to that person. Don't get into a relationship if you don't intent to make it last.

hair
My hair is kinda messy now. I'm thinking of cutting it much shorter...maybe like boycut? super short... But don't know how i'll look then..hehe.
I never really liked Long hair...always wanted super short hair...
When i was young i even thought of going bald.
oh well, it's just a thought..too afraid to make it come reality.

reserve navy A. C. T
19 dec, a day after the last rugby match...7am I received a phone call, QUICKLY come to markas PALAPES LAUT Universiti Malaya. Ok, Ok, journey to Pelabuhan Klang, Pulau Indah. Destination Kapal Diraja Sri Klang aka KD Sri Klang or KDSI. It's not a boat la but something like a HQ i guess.
WE went there to attend our ACT (annual continous training). Palapes Laut UPM, and UiTM Shah Alam were also there. Our status Pegawai Kadet. Officer cadet.
room delegation, 6 ppl in a 4 person bed room. our basin had no water. I'm falling sick cause of the continous previous activeness (12 hour malacca on the 11-12 dec, rugby training on 14 dec, rugby game on 16 dec, rugby match on 18 dec and now reserve navy training from 19th dec to 27 dec)
makan very little for dinner cause the food portion was not enuf for 81 officer cadets.
What we are going to learn in classes are "naval terms and etiquette and ranks" "organization and role of TLDM(Royal Navy of malaysia)" "ceromonies-sunset,color and piping", "semanship-knots and flag" "communication-morse code, flag communication" "marching" "history of tldm".
3 division: Thana, Zain and Wahab. I'm in Zain.
Always muster and go everywhere in troops aka division.
muster (A gathering, especially of troops, for service, inspection, review, or roll call) at 8pm..sing songs and pep talk.
Alpha routine-> meaning whenever we are under the sky, cadets must RUN.
release to sleep at 12am. Where we all clean our room, prepare for the next day. Left shoulder and right arm pain, maybe from carrying bag.
I was the only non muslim girl.
Monday 20th dec.
early morning activity (EMA) at 5.50am.
Jogging, push up, sit up, jumping jacks, star jump, squat jump and many other exercises till 6.50am.
Breakfast at 7am
8am colors aka watches aka raising and lowering the pennant (something like a flag) and morning inspection.
Kawad kaki or Marching class at 9am to 11am with a 30 minutes rest in between.
Different classes for different divisions.
Lunch-mess etiquette (eat square, request permission for every action, speech or song), eat under table. 1pm-2pm
Another Class.
Evening activity(EA) at 5.15pm. Exercises, can be running to the jetty too.
Dinner-mess etiquette at 6pm-7pm
Prepare and clean room, and standardize layout for Night rounds. They check everywhere, even under and behind cupboards, in between door knob, curtain railing, window slides, toilet must be dry, every night no one escapes, everyone also will get pick up on something...It's hard to standardize with 81 officer cadets. Drawers and Cupboards must be empty only can lay out PT (physical training uniform), everything else must be secured (hidden) somewhere else. (Cannot secure in your room)
p/s Secure means hide.
8pm Night rounds.
Punishment and lecturing and OOD(officer of the day) intro and give briefing of the next day, detail of who is in duty the next day: Galley party(kitchen work), DCOD(duty cadet of the day).
Usually Galley party is busy the whole day, cannot enter class, super tired, midnight also not yet done.
UM students got scolding in the room by UPM subby( Acting Sub Lieutenant) for being lurus bendul (too honest).
Today is the open for UM 1st yr students registration for next semester. 20th dec to 26 dec. Unfortunately the PALAPES LAUT ACT is from 19 dec to 27 dec. How to register? Ish ish ish...
Um students get back phone and ask family or friends at 1 am till 5am to ask others to help register for us here. 8am must give back phone. 5.50am is EMA.
TUES 21st dec, I became an LDOD (light duty of the day) meaning I am sick or cannot do normal or heavy duty. LDOD till the camp ended. My right arm hurts and DR Stella's letter of not being able to do push up or weight training.
And So the LDOD club started. When others did heavy exercises, we did marching or dancing or just moving lightly and walking around in a troop. Among the LDOD's membership were paralysed arm, leg bone crack, back bone misposture, waist pain, and so on.
side roll...many boys threw out aka vomit, only 1 girl vomited. Motivation Speeches by high rank officers during classes and scolding for not obeying the "Mark of Respect".
Punishment all the time...
Well, for the next few days the schedule is the same.
